MUSIC DIRECTOR, TELOK AYER ARTS CLUB

Former music director for lifestyle hospitality brands The Lo & Behold Group and W Hotels in Asia-Pacific, Hasnor Sidik—otherwise known as his DJ moniker Mr. Has or simply, Has—is one of the key figures in Singapore’s electronic music and nightlife scene. Beyond our shores, his genre-bending sets have gained traction on international stages; from Bali to Puerto Rico and New York to Berlin, he has played to some of the most reputable dance floors around the world. 

As the only Singaporean member of the honourary Mr Porter’s The Style Council list, Has never fails to look dapper behind the decks, and it is clear that he knows his fashion just as well as his music.

Together with Sue-Shan, Has co-founded Telok Ayer Arts Club as Music Director, bringing his years of expertise to helm the Art Club’s music programming. Intended as a respite from the non-stop demands of the city, he overturns notions of work and play with tongue-in-cheek concepts such as “Office Hours”, a weekly Friday evening DJ set helmed by Has himself; and “Kelab Malam”, an intimate club night in the CBD focusing on debut international guest DJs that is interjected between artist residencies.
